GENERAL RULES
Club de la Pointe is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Only people staying at Fraternité-sur-Lac and carrying a magnetic card or bracelet threaded on a strap worn around their neck are authorized to access and move around the Club. The card/bracelet must be visible at all times.
No alcoholic beverages are permitted at the Club.
Cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cannabis, shisha or any other substance or drug are prohibited at all times.
Also prohibited at all times: radios, portable mini systems, music players, portable speakers, coolers, barbecues, chairs, tents or the like.
Personal nautical or inflatable equipment is not permitted at the Club. They can contaminate lake water or even represent a danger for children.
Dogs on leashes are allowed before 10 a.m. and after 5 p.m. All fecal matter must be removed by the owners under penalty of a fine of $250.
No group events or gatherings can take place at the Club.
Fireworks are prohibited at all times.
Tennis courts can be reserved for one-hour usage periods. Anyone interested in playing just needs to write their name on the board provided for this purpose.
Open-air fireplaces should be used with caution. An active fire should never be left unattended.
No motorized vehicles, except utility or emergency vehicles, are permitted at the Club.
Please respect the spaces reserved for the owners of Fraternité-sur-Lac. The pavilion, the dock and the exterior areas at the end of the point are clearly identified and require the wearing of a special access card/bracelet.
THE POOL TIMES AND RULES
The pool area will be accessible for swimming 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from June 24 to September 2.
The door giving access to the pool area is locked at all times. Only people staying at Fraternité-sur-Lac and carrying a magnetic card/bracelet threaded on a strap worn around their neck are authorized to access it.
The number of bathers is limited to 10 at a time.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or over). .
Rules regarding the use of the swimming pool are posted on site.
THE MARINA SCHEDULE AND RULES
The boats will be accessible 7 days a week during the summer season from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. provided the water temperature is 15 degrees Celsius or higher.
Nautical equipment is available to you for a period of 60 minutes.
Nautical equipment is loaned on a first come, first served basis.
No young person under the age of 16 may use a boat without adult supervision.
Wearing a personal flotation device (PFD) is mandatory at all times, without exception. It's the law.
For your safety, each boat is equipped with an emergency kit (bailer, whistle, rope, etc.)
Please handle the nautical equipment provided to you with care. They are expensive to maintain, repair or even replace.
Please help put borrowed equipment in its place and hang life jackets on the rope provided for this purpose.
THE LAKE SWIMMING RULES
Make sure you and your group know how to swim. This is the best way to ensure your safety in or near water.
Supervise your children at all times. Never leave them alone in or near water.
Less experienced swimmers and young children must wear a life jacket appropriate to their size or a personal flotation device (PFD) at all times.
Never swim alone. Use the mutual monitoring system. Always swim with someone else and supervise each other.
Set your limits as a swimmer and stick to them. Don’t try to keep up with other swimmers who are more experienced or better than you.
Never consume alcohol before swimming or while swimming. Alcohol impairs faculties and judgment, and is not permitted at the Club.
Swimming, access to water and use of the equipment made available to you are not supervised and are done at your own risk.
